 Our
Tolono facility, which is called Apex, is located about 1/2 mile
West of Tolono, Illinois on Champaign County Road 700 North. Apex
is the center for many of United Prairie's operations.
Tolono
(Apex) is where United Prairie's central offices, fertilizer distribution
warehouse, anhydrous ammonia warehouse facility, 28% nitrogen
warehouse tanks, and a full service chemical bay are located.
 The
main offices at Apex are home to several different individuals
who take care of many different aspects of the company.
Along
with the office building at Apex, there is a maintenance shop,
plus a chemical distributor warehouse. The warehouse space is
leased to United Suppliers, a distributor of crop protection chemicals.
This single building houses the offices, shop and and warehouse.
It was recently constructed in the early spring of 2003.

At
our main office is Tim Hughes, the General Manager of Untied Prairie,
LLC Tim oversees the entire company, as well as our Apex location.
Tim then reports monthly to our board of directors on the status
and profitability of the company. Tim also servers as a Certified
Crop Advisor/Sales Agronomist at the Apex facility. Along with
Tim's office, there is the office of Russ Dukeman. Russ is the
Sales Coordinator and a Sales Agronomist for United Prairie, and
oversees the marketing and sales of the many products and services
United Prairie has to offer. The main offices is also home to
Todd Shunk, our Seed Specialist. He has a key role in the sell
and logistics of Untied Prairie's seed sales business.

At
apex, you will also find the office Aaron Grote, our Technical
Services Representative. Aaron is in charge of our variable rate
fertilizer equipment (VRT), GPS systems, and our crop scouting
services. Aaron also servers our growers by assisting them with
their GPs systems, yield monitors, and any other technical help
he can provide.
Ken
Bierman is another employee who has an office at Apex. He is the
Financial Controller for Untied Prairie, LLC. Ken is our accountant,
and oversees the complete financial health of the entire company.
Then, along with Tim Hughes, he reports to our board of directors
on our company's financial performance.
To
finish out the main office staff is Cindy Cain our Administrative
Assistant, Kathy Meyer our Accounts Payable Clerk, Butch Bennet,
one of our many Certified Crop Advisor/Sales Agronomists, and
Aaron Henry another one of our Sales Agronomists.
The
Apex location also has an excellent crew of Custom Applicators,
five guys altogether. Besides operating our application equipment,
Don Berbaum, Scott Dick, Craig Justus, Darrin Duncan and Billy
Vaughn help to perform the daily operations at our busy Apex location.

Apex facility also servers as a fertilizer distribution facility
for the other Untied Prairie facilities, as well as fertilizer
warehouses for Cargill Crop Nutrition. Our excellent Tolono location
has allowed us to receive many of our fertilizers by train, and
become and major warehouse facility for Cargill due to our three
rail sidings. Due to to these rail sidings at Apex we can receive
dry fertilizers, anhydrous ammonia, and 28% nitrogen solution.

 The
rail sidings at Tolono allow us to bring in large amounts of product,
which is warehoused at the facility, such as dry fertilizer, 28%
nitrogen solution, and anhydrous ammonia.
Apex has enough
tank capacity to store 1,250,000 gallons of 28% nitrogen. There
is also a full service chemical bay at Apex along with several
anhydrous ammonia risers. We recently constructed a new fertilizer
warehouse that is capable of holding 13,000 tons of dry fertilizer.
This will feed all of our retail outlets as well as serve as a
warehouse for Cargill Crop Nutrition.
